Daniel Křetínský
Chairman of the Board
Daniel Křetínský is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Czech Media Invest. He also owns 50% of the company’s shares. He is also the majority owner and Chairman of the Board of EPH, one of the largest energy companies in Europe. He is also a co-owner of EP Industries group and also has a significant share in Mall Group, which is the e-commerce leader in the Czech Republic. He is also the chairman of the football club AC Sparta Praha. Mr. Křetínský holds a bachelor degree in political science and master and doctoral degrees in law from the Masaryk University in Brno.
Daniel Častvaj
Member of the Board
Daniel Častvaj is a member of the Board of Directors of Czech Media Invest. He served as a Director of Communications and Marketing at ČEZ and at Ministry of Finance or Ministry of Industry. He has been active in the media for many years, beginning from the editor and moderator of national commercial and public television, to the post of CEO of the former parliamentary television 24cz. He is also a member of the boards of affiliates such as Czech News Center or Czech Radio Center.
David Bregar
Member of the Board
David Bregar is a member of the Board of Directors of Czech Media Invest as well as other members of the CMI Group like and affilated companies. Mr. Bregar is a chairman of the Supervisory Board of PNS, the leading Czech press distribution company. Prior to joining EPH and CMI Mr Bregar has worked many years as attorney-at-law. Mr. Bregar holds degree in Finance from University of Economics in Prague and a degree in Law from Charles University, Prague.
Branislav Miškovič
Member of the Board
Branislav Miškovič is a Member of the Board of Czech Media invest as well as a Member of the Board of associated companies, including EC Investments, Mall Group or Czech Radio Center. Since 2013, he is a member of the M&A team of EPH, where he participated in numerous strategic acquisitions in the energy, media or e-commerce sector as well as subsequent management and controlling functions in the portfolio companies. Prior to joining EPH, he spent 3 years in the M&A department of J.P Morgan in London and had several internships with Google or Roland Berger. Branislav holds a master’s degree from the University of Economics in Prague as well as a CEMS Master in International Management degree in collaboration with Copenhagen Business School.
